I'm glad this trilogy is finally over...

I honestly don't know how they managed it, but The Strangers: Chapter 3 might be the most exhausting entry yet. Maya's "ordeal" continues because apparently we needed a third movie to repeat the same cat-and-mouse routine with even more filler. By this point, this trilogy really feels like punishment. There are no real scares, no suspense, no surprises - just recycled, endless scenes that feel like they exist purely to stretch the runtime. The franchise also keeps digging into backstories nobody asked for.At this point, I'm convinced this entire trilogy could've been one mediocre movie instead of three increasingly lifeless ones. Even out of pure curiosity, it's not worth watching this mess.

The Strangers: Chapter 33 1/3: The Final Insult

The last chapter turns out to be the worst ever even if it doesn't take much to be worse than the previous chapters, unfortunately in this trilogy nothing is saved from the actors who however were penalized by the script and the direction, misconceptions inconsistent writing, I'll give an example in this final chapter there is a beginning that fails to convey anything or any kind of emotion, because in my opinion there is no idea behind the project no inspiration they wrote everything in a short time without believing in it too much and they earned some money by exploiting the Brand!

The ordeal continues for Maya....and the viewers.

Maya's ordeal continues... she thinks she's escaped her tormenters, but once again she's hurled into a nightmarish scenario.Tamara, I don't know where you are, but I am genuinely sick to death of hearing if you're there.I'm thankful we didn't use this as a Valentine's Day horror flick... we guessed it would be poor, and it was. I just wasn't prepared for how bad it was going to be.Positives first-some decent music, and it identifies as a horror movie, at least it tries to.Unfortunately, it isn't a horror. It's a lame excuse, a cosplay horror; the elements are there, but there are no scares, no surprises... we've seen it all before. Each sequel diminishes the franchise further down the drain.I don't need any more backstory of the killers... I don't care about them, their childhoods, what they do... it was never important. The mystery and suspense were always the key elements. I swear at one point a guy hits the decks long before the axe is wielded. We've all had enough of this franchise. Foolishly, I watched the original last night-what a contest, subtle terror, spine-tingling anticipation-compared to this lame duck. Horrendous.2/10.
