Plot summary

Ben and Laura are a passionate but volatile couple who embark on a round-the-world sailing adventure to give their relationship a new start. During their trip, they decide to explore a vast deserted island which they discover off the coast of Chile. Caught in a violent storm, they shelter in an abandoned whaling station for the night but wake up the next morning to find their boat has disappeared. Stranded in a hostile environment with no means of communication, dwindling supplies and winter approaching they must work together in a life and death battle for survival, that will challenge their feelings and change their relationship forever.

Still, thanks for your effort.

If you enjoy documentaries and scenic views, you might watch it. The settings are beautiful, but it's not a particularly great film. Neither very good nor very bad, I think it's just average. If you like island survival themes, give it a chance. Only the acting was passable. Otherwise, it's watchable. Still, thanks for your effort.

Excellent

I registered specially to rate this movie. It's one of The best i've seen in months. It's not fair that theres no reviews and the rate is so low. Actors Are brilliant. Plot is unpredictable. Nowadays you can read any plot before watching movie and everything is so boring. But with this movie you dont know what will be next. I'm sorry. English is not my native language."this film follows a couple who must fight for survival after they become stranded on an island". And they doing it not in the dumb way. Silly plot often in these type of films, but not in this one. This one is realistic and interesting.

Love hurts

Well it is not just love that hurts ... so no pun intended. Also movies like this one remind me how lost I would be without the whole system that has been set up ... as in I don't think I am cut out for the whole hunting and outdoor thing - outside of cities.That all said, the movie is keeping it as real as possible. Humans do their best to survive ... and mostly stick together when danger is coming up. That said, anything personal can also be quite dangerous ... because it will come to light ... as much as we have that survival instinct, we as humans also have that self destruct inside of us ... anyway.The movie is well structured and while you may think this looks like by the numbers ... it does have a few surprises along the way (no pun intended) ... just don't freeze on it ... or in it!
