It's not as great as the original, and the story change from the original is terrible. I wish they would stop ruining originals and remaking movies that fail.

There is a good amount of hockey in

There is a good amount of hockey in this which I think makes it good enough to watch. Some of the off ice stuff is cliched or predictable but overall it’s an interesting story about a kid trying to improve himself and reaching his dreams.
