I loved it and would definitely like to see the second part. I especially enjoyed the moments of silence that strengthened the feeling of comfort, just as they were built upon by the moments of dialogue, which were even more powerful. I felt like I was learning about women, as is the recurring theme in films of the Director and particularly the work of mothers. I am a mother of three. I was especially moved by the moments when she felt alone and abandoned, on the verge of madness and facing unknown circumstances, and at the end, how the strength of human beings (not just women but humanity) and their instinct to survive pull them through. The scenes of the crops, the corn seeds, and rebirth are very symbolic. The part about the snake and its analogy with Eve is very apt. The mystery of the smoking volcano also caught my attention, as I wasn't expecting what she would find there. I loved the overall suspense and the ending when she meets another person, not knowing if it's a man or a woman. I also forgot to mention the profound and philosophical reflection on life nowadays, the destruction of the world that sometimes doesn't seem so far away, but just around the corner. Congratulations, excellent work.

It definitely left a impression on me. The movie was great in representing solitude and human emotions and the actress did the job very well, There were also some heartwarming moments, Such as the dogs return, However, Despite the general values the movie displays, the plot felt inconsistent and in general parts of the movie dragged on, And some parts felt unnecessary and out of place, Like the volcano full of corpses, Which did make me curious but brought me out of the experience overall. In general, Id reccomend this, But it still has its issues that take you out of its world.

Natalia was exceptional. I loved the mix of Spanish and English. The story of what happened (the apocalypse, visitation from a superior (ET) species was a bit flimsy, not well developped. The narration parts by Natalia need serious re-writing. The relationship with Lobo was great. The music was good, but it felt like something recycled from elsewhere. Overall the cinematography was good. The scene with pit of dead bodies in the volcano was not really necessary, and it felt a little bit out of place. And finally my pet peeve, when they show a woman giving birth, they never show that afterwards she has to evacuate the placenta -- which is as traumatic as birthing the newborn. One more thing: The scene where she's drunk and listens to that gorgeous Argentinian song is absolutely beautiful. Congrats to the actress and to the DP (Director of Photography). I only wish that the writing had been a little bit better, but overall, a movie well worth watching.
