Plot summary

Taylah Simpkins, a rural teenage outcast aims to redefine herself at her town's Debutante Ball. When her cynical city cousin, Maeve, is sent to stay with her, they clash before teaming up to disrupt the status quo, finding self-acceptance and dates in the process.

Rebel Wilson has once again demonstrated how egregiously mediocre she is with this dumpster fire that makes me embarrassed to be Australian. I wish this had stayed in legal limbo due to Rebel being sued, and never seen the light of day

Saw this yesterday. Hilarious! Fun and full of dancing and singing. Pokes sticks at so much pc woke nonsense, it's a laugh a minute. Good actors too. (Although I'd say Wilson NOT one the best, imho. But plenty of others who are terrific.) Highly recommend for a 'spirit lift'. PS. Perhaps not if one is easily 'offended'!
