Plot summary

The acting is so terrible, why is there

the acting is so terrible, why is there like 3 time skips, the main guy keeps talking in a hush, low deep voice I couldn't hear anything well, and ik an 11 year old doesn't call her parents, mommy and daddy, like she's 11 not 5. the scene where they jump the mc guy there's no way a landmine makes u do a front flip, like y'all should be blown in pieces not frontflip, the acting is overall terrible and it seeems so rushed, theres no deep meanings or explanation of the characters, the movie reminds me of those people who keep cursing to seem mature, like no we don't want a movie with 80% of the sentences r just curses, also who's the dude in the van who is he??? there's no explanation on the characters, like a mafia doesn't need to keep cursing every second and why did the main village in began touching maya, the nurse, like that, so weird, movie terrible, would not watch again, would not recommend, no good written characters and timeline so horrible. 1/10

This is a great homage to the age

This is a great homage to the age when Blockbuster was where you went for videos. A continuation of the Spaghetti Westerns that made Clint Eastwood a superstar, and a refreshingly raw production, flirting with the stylistic action exess of original Kung Fu movies. It takes you to another universe than the lavishly produced Hollywood flicks, and for that, it deserves your time and love. A must-see, but it must be seen through a different lens, one of brass tacks action movies of old.
