Would recommend 10/10. I haven't seen a movie

Would recommend 10/10. I haven't seen a movie I've genuinely enjoyed like this one in a long time. It might not be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine. It brings forth a strong main character that is... unrelatable in a good way. A woman who I think many women (or maybe just me) secretly wish they emulate, in terms of being a girls girl and fighting dirty corruption in the most blunt force way. Retribution. This is fiction but there really does exist in this world people like they are depicted here. And she is what I hope they get coming. I also think it flowed well and was actually really pretty. There are some scenes that really emphasize her state of mind, and overall the flow didn't distract from the story. It's hard to explain properly but a lot of movies now at some point I feel like I'm just someone watching a screen. Not with this one.

Tries to be too much only to end

Tries to be too much only to end up as none of it. I can’t decide if it was too creative for it own good or just a mess.

Saint Clare is a mixed but ultimately watchable

Saint Clare is a mixed but ultimately watchable thriller that takes time to find its footing. The opening stretch is rough, with slow pacing and kills that feel vague and unconvincing, making it hard to understand where the story is going or what kind of film it wants to be. Early on, it risks losing the audience entirely. Once the plot settles, however, the film becomes more engaging. Bella Thorne is decent in the lead, and Ryan Phillippe adds credibility as a police officer, with their back-and-forth helping ground the story. The screenplay plays things far too safe, avoiding the darker depths of its subject matter, which dulls its impact. A late reveal involving additional characters feels predictable rather than shocking due to limited setup. Overall, Saint Clare isn’t great, but it’s serviceable if you can push through the first 20 minutes.
