It's difficult to understand how this actually did

It's difficult to understand how this actually did result in a finished movie. It has no character at all on almost any level, in terms of story or cinematography. If you'd see any experimental take they tried to play with and didn't succeed, I'd appreciate that, but you can't sense any. This is no rant, I just think it's a very miserable take on any topic and concept which they try to make part of their story.

Jonah Hill, you wasted Keanu Reeves.

Outcome (2026) is a black comedy movie from Apple TV written and directed by Jonah Hill and it follows Keanu Reeves as a Hollywood star looking to make up for his past misdeeds which is a great idea for a movie on paper except this movie sucked major ass.Positives for Outcome (2026): Keanu Reeves is awesome as Reef Hawk, who is learning to be a better person after being sober for 5 years, and his chemistry with Matt Bomer and Cameron Diaz is great. The story is brilliant and it would make for a great comedy movie. The ending with Reef Hawk becoming a good person is great. That's all I've got to say for the positives.Negatives for Outcome (2025): Despite the good things going for this movie, Jonah Hill drops the ball with his writing and directing. As much as I love Hill as a comedic actor, he couldn't make this movie work and it was bad. Everything feels so phony and fake with the execution and it sucks because there is some goodness here. The comedy and drama doesn't land even when you have Keanu Reeves is giving it his all. The movie is so slow with the pacing and this is a short movie at only 83 minutes long. And finally, this movie was so painfully boring to watch.Overall, Outcome (2026) is a movie that had all the ingredients going for it and I wanted to love it, but this was a drag to get through and it pains me as a fan of Keanu Reeves and Apple TV. This is easily one of the worst movies of the year and it is the most disappointing movie of 2026 so far.

An interesting take on fame and cancel culture that gets lost in its own vagueness

Jonah Hill had everything going for him: a timely topic, a strong cast, and Keanu Reeves clearly willing to poke fun at his own image. And yet, nothing clicks. The film tries to be a satire, tries to be a drama, tries to be relevant... and ends up being nothing but indecisive. The jokes fall flat, the drama doesn't land, and it feels like watching something that never finds its own tone. It's curious how, even though it's short, it seems to drag on.In the end, what's left is an interesting idea lost in the middle of a script that doesn't know where it's going. Neither the charisma holds up, nor does the premise stand on its own. And before you know it, you're more tired than engaged-which says a lot about the final result.
