Who funds this stuff.

Only watched it as I couldn't stop. For some reason (must have been bad in a previous life) I had to watch til the end. Secondary school/Am Dram acting, with no character depth. To think the writer/director actually believes anyone watching would be in anyway surprised when the painfully drawn out plot twist is revealed is hilarious. The biggest shock of all is how many crew members and the directors family have written reviews giving 9/10, believing readers will actually believe they're legit. Give your teenage kids an iPhone and they will make a better film; hell they probably already have..

An attempt at morality and drama so bad it's almost laughable

I just could not stop watching because in got intrigued by how the creators of this movie attempted again and again, in almost literally every scene, to invoke a sense of tension, drama and finger-pointing life-lessons by just piling up cliché characters with a shallow storyline, over-acting characters and - what I thought was most annoying of all - continuous dramatic music.

Even if there is not tension whatsoever in a scene, the music will built up, increase in tension to reach avclimax while the script/scene does not deliver any drama or tension. It's literally exhausting because the brain gets mixed signals all the time. By the second part of the movie, you will just start ignoring the music alltogether because it's so out-of-sync that it's not credible anymore. A bit like a child who always makes jokes about being hurt, and then when actually gets hurt nobody reactis anymore.

I always do try to watch these kinds of movies till the end because it usually makes me appreciate the next movie I watch so much more LOL.

This movie is so bad it's amazing

The aim of the movie is to clearly emphasize the problem of influencer like shallow youth and greedy dysfunctional families meeting violence and manipulation towards women. There is no actual plot not a real meaning reachead at any point of the movie that seems extremely long even if it actually isn't. I would have loved to care even a little for the protagonist but he's probably the most annoying jock ever portayed on screen. The whole abortion trauma swept under a rug and then brought up as a tearjerker is simply offensive. There's simply too much and too sparse to be coherent and connected in a narrative sense.
