Derek Ting doing the thing.....

Alastair, the commander of a covert Earth security task force, calls upon rookie Jim to go on a mission led by Colonel Green and his seasoned marines to track a mysterious energy disturbance at a base in New Mexico suspected of experimenting on alien technology.

When the team encounter an unknown being of not only extraordinary strength and speed, but the ability to control mindless warriors, the team must fight to uncover the truth behind the hostile alien fortress and prevent humanity's demise......

Modest Ting stars, writes, and directs this, what can only be classed as, a monstrosity.

The obvious reason that people will go and see this, is because of the one and only Chuck Norris. Not for his acting, but because it's.... Chuck.... Norris.

But if, like me, you are savvy to these straight to physical media films, you know he's hardly in it, and is prominently on the cover because people will buy the film.

For the majority of the film, he is sitting there, with a weird 'I've just kissed a girl' look on his face. And it feels really strange. It looks like he's AI, and it's unsettling.

But fear not! Norris is really a terminator in this, and him saying 'I have a nuclear reactor inside me', is probably the greatest thing ever.

We always knew Mr. Norris.

The rest of the film is dreck, as we are just treated to the good guys fighting the bad guys. And when they punch, the bad guys flash red, and the good blue.

The special effects are astoundingly bad, and there was one shot where I was sure that Norris' head was super imposed onto someone else.

Please Derek, do some-Ting else instead.

Truly Awful

Sometimes I like to watch movies that have a score of 3 or lower out of 10, just to see how terrible it is. How bad can it really be? I never believe a score can be that low and each and every time I go yeah that movie deserves it. I've seen a few movies like this now, and a lot of them have one thing in common that helps them all seem to be churned out by the same terrible movie factory. No it's not the bad acting , choppy editing, repetitive scores, even more bad acting and nonsensical writing. No, what they have in common is the protagonist, writer, producer and director are all the same person, instead of doing one thing well, or at the very least adequately, they do multiple jobs terribly. This may seem mean, but I don't think there is anyone else to blame, he took all the jobs. With only a handful of reviews it is possible that Derek Ting will read this, but really it doesn't matter because it won't discourage him from doing what he does. The idea that he can go around and tell people he's an actor, director, writer and producer irks me a little but what can you do? Irks me a little but what can you do.

2/10 because at least the camera was in focus and the audio was clear.

Stay away from this.

Nothing stand up in this production. The scenario is a mix bag of pretty much everything they could think of: alien, IA, super-power humans and technological non-sense. The scenery is completely random and the actors do what they can when your director is clearly here to try to make some money before moving on.

The opposing forces are generic and all the actions scenes are spineless. I mean, at one point, when Norris 'is fighting', this is almost 3 minutes uninterrupted of Chuck shooting stuff that you can't see because it's more important to show Chuck shooting stuff than to show you what he is shooting at.

Instead we have 18 SHOTS of Norris, his minigun and an amerian flag behind. Laughable.

Not as bad as a Uwe Boll movie, but close enough.
