Plot summary

Good Premise, Weak Follow-Through

I went into Accused with some expectations, especially with Konkona Sen Sharma leading the cast, and the film initially looked promising. The opening stretch set up an intriguing premise around reputation, allegations, and the emotional fallout that follows. For a while, it felt like the story might evolve into a tense psychological drama.Unfortunately, the momentum faded quickly. The screenplay turned thin and repetitive, stretching a limited idea across too many scenes. Instead of building suspense or deeper character insight, the narrative began to drift, and the pacing became sluggish.Direction from Anubhuti Kashyap was uneven, with several moments lacking the dramatic sharpness the story needs. Konkona remains watchable and brings some credibility to the role, but even her performance cannot fully overcome the film's structural weaknesses.Overall, Accused is watchable but never compelling. A tighter script and stronger narrative focus could have made this far more impactful.

Decent build up. Okayish movie

Disappointing ending, lathergic writing, weak production

A typical hindi bollywood film which start with keeping you hooked, but changed its track halfway to the film. Very weak writing, specifically adding unacceptable suspense. Very disappointing experience after watching this movie. Not recommended at all if you are expecting a logical suspense or ending. Totally rubbish.
